President's Day trip to Sacramento

For a while we had been planning a trip to San Francisco for President's Day.  We were going to take the Ferry from Vallejo and then do some fun city sight-seeing.  For some reason, when it came right down to it (the night before), it just wasn't jiving.  So we completely changed our plans.  We took a trip to Sacramento instead and visited the California State Railroad Museum.  It was really fun, the tour guide was very energetic and full of information, and we got to board several trains and see what they were like back in the day...

This is Landon learning about the train conductors and what they do.

After we went to lunch nearby in Old Town Sacramento, we went to Discovery Park to enjoy all of the bike trails.  I packed up all 6 bikes so we could go for a family bike ride.  2 are in the hatch-back, and the others on the bike rack.  YES!!!!!!!!!

I took pictures while we were riding around.  This is me with Landon following behind me.

Braden, Dallin, and Landon enjoying the bike path.

Landon and Anissa cruising.

With my super-refined self-portrait taking skills, I even got one of Anissa and I riding together.  Yes, you should be impressed with my skillz.

We ended the day with a trip to Baja Fresh for some yummy fajitas, burritos, and of course, chips and salsa.  It turned out to be a great day even with the last minute plan changes.  Good times!
