Farewell friends

It is hard to say goodbye to the folks we've spent the last 4 1/2 years with.  California has been such a great place to live and work.  We will miss it!!!  My HR team had a going away dinner for me at La Luna, a nice Italian place in Pleasant Hill.  They know me really well - gave me a HUGE framed photo of a beach along Point Reyes where I have gone on several excursions while living here.  What a great HR team.  I'm gonna miss 'em!!

The Allens came to visit - their 4 girls are all perfect matches for our 4 boys.  This was our last hurrah with them.

We went to dinner with Daniel and Aleena Boyer.  I'm gonna miss them bad.  Some people are just really, really hard to leave behind.  Anyway, we went to dinner at Merchant & Main Grill in Vacaville, and topped it off with a dessert at Denny's.  :)  I'm pretty sure I had indigestion that night.

Anissa did breakfast at Babs in Suisun City with her girls and they took a pic at the waterfront.

We also had a going away partay at Scott and Rebecca Harris' home.  They invited all of our church peeps and neighbors for a potluck BBQ.  Good times!!

Right as we were getting ready to leave, Parker gave Landon a hug and the reality of us leaving California for good started to sink in.  Landon started crying so all the boys came and gave him a group hug.  Soon everyone joined in, and then we made 'em all pose for another pic.  We miss you all!!!
