Last night we took Braden and Dallin to their first Broadway show...The Drowsy Chaperone. Our friends Craig and Megen joined us and we had such a great time! This show is seriously one of my favorites. The cast was terrific. It just does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world and it..it gives you a little tune to carry in your head for...for...when you're feeling blue, you know?
We went to a terrific restaurant thanks to a recommendation from my co-worker Monica - Max's on the Square. Great food, good times, and a super show. What more can you ask for? The kids loved it, they've been listening to the CD for a long time now and had all the songs down. Dallin's favorite scene was "Cold Feet." Braden's favorite part was when the "Man in Chair" character said he had to go pee. Boys....

I found your blog though the Pemberton's. What an absolute joy it was browsing through the pages and seeing your sweet family again. Anissa you look simply fabulous (and you and Brett are as adorable as ever). Holy cow those 4 boys of yours are total studs (although I still have a sweet spot for Dallin...such a cutie).
I'm so happy you guys are enjoying California...we felt the same way about the weather when we moved to Colorado and have really enjoyed being outdoors a lot more the last 4 years.
Anissa, I have such fond memories of our friendship (especially the Temple) and miss you tons. Hopefully our paths will cross someday (maybe we need to take another Califonia vacation) until then thank goodness for blogs. Rox
I wish I could have gone to the show with you. Iknow how Braden and Dallin's faces light up just from listening to the CD. I can imagine what joy must have radiated to see the show. Maybe next time?
I have never heard of this musical. Another one to add to all of my musicals I want to go see.
