Dallin has been taking guitar lessons through his school as part of their after-school program. He has been really excited about it and has had fun learning guitar with his friend Zach. On Tuesday they had their first concert at the school. They drew a full house!
Dallin is right around the middle of the picture here. To the left of him, in the red jacket, is his friend Zach. They carpool together to school every day.
When Dallin was particularly excited about one of the songs, he put his head down to try to hide his smile. :)

Dallin said his favorite song is "Folk Song in G". His teacher announced at the concert that this is a title he made up...it is actually just a major scale, but he gave it a catchy title to convince the kids to play it. Clever!

Dallin and I after the concert. Anissa and the other boys couldn't be there because they were at Braden's basketball team practice in Benicia. I have been working late nights with negotiations, and made it to Dallin's concert straight from work right when the concert started.
Dallin and I got to go get an Oreo Blaster shake after the concert to celebrate how great he did.

Dallin has no idea (nor should he care yet) but he's gonna break some hearts with that guitar playing mode.... :-> Girls love a man in a band.
