Week 10 and Week 11
I didn't get a chance to post about my training last week so I'll sum up the last two weeks in this post. Two weeks ago my mid-week runs went great... it's so amazing how 5-8 miles seems like nothing now. At the end of Week 10, me and Megen did another 16 miler. We went two times around a 7 mile loop by my house. A beautiful area called Rockville. We beat our time from last week by 8:00 minutes. Yippee! This last week I started to get really scared about the race, not necessarily not finishing, but the unknown of what will happen during the race, weening Derek before I go, eating the right foods, the logistics of getting to/from the race, etc. So this week I have tried to concentrate on the mental part of a marathon and focusing on the goal. I went 16-miles again at the end of week 11 and had my slowest time yet at that distance but my mental mind is getting better so overall things are looking good :) I am getting so excited for race day! Only five more weeks!

Gooo Anissa! I am so excited for you & know that you are going to do awesome. I can't believe it's only 5 weeks away. Just remember, you are amazing! You can do anything you set your mind to.

Hey, how about an update on your training? I really enjoyed running with you and Megan while we stayed there! You are way out of my league now girl!! 4 to 5 miles is more my style!
